My Process
Quick Overview
Understanding Scope
No creative project is successful unless it’s meeting goals. Understanding the brand and the project goals on a deep level is key, and allows me to think strategically to execute on expectations.
Creative Concepting
From moodboards to storyboards, and everything inbetween, creative concepting is one of my favorite stages in any process. Messy, fun, and meant to explore all the directions possible, this is where great ideas begin to come to life.
Feedback
I always say, “you can’t hurt my feelings”, and it’s so true! I’ve heard every piece of feedback from positive to “we absolutely hate this”, and every comment is an opportunity to grow, or push the project along in the right direction.
Iteration
You wonder how that graphic will look with a different background color, font, or layout? I’ve probably already been there. Tweaking designs until everything feels just right, and showing stakeholders different directions explored helps solidify the design is moving down the right path.
Delivery
Dev handoffs, creating style guides, exporting, packaging, printing, and more. I pride myself on delivering clean and understandable files of any type.
Communication
Whether it’s Slack, email, Figma comments, or a quick call, I’m aways available to answer questions, give updates, and keep everyone in the loop, and the project moving forward.
Moodboards
Moodboards are more than just elements on a page. My designs are brand explorations, visual strategies, and creative concepting coming to life in a format that clients and stakeholders can easily grasp when visualizing their brand within a digital touchpoint. Storyboards
Storyboards are a crucial part of the motion design/video process. From ambiguous briefs to ones with perfected scripts, I handle any and all parts of the storyboarding process from stock video and music selections, to working with voiceover artists.

Design Options
I'm frequently called the options queen (no joke), because I truly enjoy pushing the limits, exploring every direction, and iterating to my heart's content. Sometimes, to find what "works," you have to find first what doesn't, and I move through all of my design projects knowing I've explored enough options to instill confidence in every stakeholder that we're moving on the right path forward.

Style Guides, Handoffs,
& Design Systems
I love to design, but I also love everything that comes with the process, both during and after, to ensure project success. This includes a multitude of aspects, including keeping up on the latest auto-layout features, building responsive components and libraries, or writing technical-heavy developer handoff notes to ensure my designs are built to pixel-perfection.
